If you’ve ever wanted to share your mountain photos with friends, relatives, and colleagues, we are now offering a free mountain photo hosting community. Not only are photos organized by location and other categories, but one can post photos, comment on photos, rate photos, and even send e-cards of mountain photos.
Part of the reason for starting all of our sites, including Mountain Photos was that popular search engines rarely have our Southern California mountain communities represented. In my town of Twin Peaks, the first couple of searches pages of Google, for example list pages of a cheesy restaurant with the same name in Texas, as well as numerous pages of a former television show. By sharing our photos, experiences, and thoughts on our communities, we can ensure that the internet gives proper credit and importance to our communities.
